Q & A: Temperature Datalogger specification clarification
I like to know if the temperature data logger DTM 319 can continuously record 48 hours without connecting it on? computer
Answer:
It depends on the recorder interval that you set.
Question:
I am working on a development project and am considering using one of your Temperature Dataloggers which could feature as a component of a packaged product.
I need a sampling of at least once per second, preferably faster and in the specs it seems that the DTM-318 samples 2.5 times a second (good for me but only 2 inputs) but the very similar DTM-319 samples at only 1 per 3 seconds (no good for me but has 4 inputs)? Is that just a mistake in one of the spec sheets or is there really this difference in sampling frequency?
Answer:
The updated ratio of DTM-319 thermo data logger is 1 per 3 seconds for the screen
but it can record one time per second for 4 channels.
Question 2:
Please can you confirm that the thermo recorder DTM-318 updates 2.5 times per second? Or is it once every 2.5 seconds?
Regarding the DTM-319, you explained that it can record each channel once per second but is the underlying data updated every second or is it recording the last 3-second update? i.e. if the temperature is increasing 1 degree per second would the record show 1,2,3,4,5,6 or 1,1,1,4,4,4 ?
I will take the data from the RS232 port. How frequently is the data updated on that port on the DTM-319 and DTM-318?
Response as below:

In fact, DTM-318 updates 1.25 times per second.

In principle it will be 111444 ,our engineer says he will double check with me in the afternoon.

DTM-318 updates 1.25 times per second per channel.
DTM-319 updates once every 3 seconds per channel.
