Infraed thermometers: Laser, No contact, Digital, with type K thermocouple dit-515k

Infraed thermometers: Laser, No contact, Digital, with type K thermocouple

Model: DIT-515 -60~500°C (-76~932°F)

Tecpel DIT-515K is the ultimate tools for temperature measurements.
It contains 2 most reliable temperature sensors:
1) Non-contact Micro Machining Thermopile
2) K-type thermocouple socket

Such an arrangement can fulfill most of temperature measurement requirements:
Use the Non-contact for instant; not-reachable situation.
Use the thermocouple for high precision; non-surface situation.

This thermometer also comes with an ultra long battery life (8days for Alkaline battery), no 9V
battery,
It uses the most affordable and available AAA size battery.

Learn Emissivity with dit-515k  thermometer. Emissivity is a difficult concept for general user to
catch; For dit-515k thermometer , it's easy to get. Use the contact thermometer to get the true
temperature.
Then, use the Non-contact to get the surface temperature. Adjust the Emissivity until they are the
same.
Next time, use the correct Emissivity for that object. No more guess work, no more looking up on
Emissivity Table.

Infrared thermometer Application Fields:

For Food factory, cement factory, electronic machinery factory, textile factory, steel factory, air conditioning refrigeration, printing factory, biochemical pharmaceutical factory, etc.

Application notes:

1. The infrared thermometer can obtain accurate temperature via infrared transmission without touching the object, as long as the infrared ray is aligned. The measured object can obtain the precise temperature of the measured object in less than 1 second.

2. How to choose an infrared thermometer:

a. Select the desired temperature range

b. Confirm the measured object:

B-1. Material: Infrared thermometer is not suitable for measuring metal materials that reflect light. To measure this material, apply black paint as temperature transforming material or Adhesive tape with a reflectance of 0.95

B-2. Size : Usually the object to be measured must have a minimum diameter of 20 mm or more.

(If you have special requirements, please contact us; if you need to measure small objects 2.5mm, you need to use OPTEX PT-3S. Please refer to the website.

B-3. Measuring distance: determined by D: S value: The greater the D:S ratio, the farther the measurable distance is. For example, the above figure shows

c. Emmisivity (0.1 ~ 1): The Emmisiviity of each object is not the same, the general object measurement setting is 0.95 for normal material.

e. Application of emmisivity meter
